Welcome to Presentation Primary School, Carrick on Suir.

We are a Catholic School welcoming girls and boys from Junior Infants to 1st Class and girls from 2nd class to 6th class. We celebrate diversity in our school and welcome children from all parts of the world. Since our school’s foundation in 1813, we have been at the heart of education in the town of Carrick on Suir and the surrounding areas.

We are inspired by the vision of Nano Nagle. We embrace all pupils while striving to provide the highest quality education in a caring, inclusive environment which is tailored to meet individual needs. As a school, we are progressive in our thinking and are constantly expanding our approaches to ensure we provide the most current and effective methodologies for teaching and learning. In our recent Whole School Evaluation (WSE) carried out in September 2024, we received an extremely positive report on our quality of teaching and learning. (WSE Report available here )

Our wonderful facilities offer an extremely comfortable environment for children to learn and for staff to work in. We are constantly striving for ways to improve and develop the physical environment. We have made significant strides in recent years. Our “Le Chéile” outdoor learning space provides an outdoor classroom with wifi, an amphitheatre for performances and a sensory trail. We have also recently renovated the original school building which now provides large bright colourful classrooms, a new library, parents room and new kitchen to prepare our hot school meals. 

Our dedicated and caring staff are committed to providing a safe and happy environment where all our pupils can reach their full potential. We aim to prepare every student for further education and lifelong learning.
